Drawn from over 40 years of intelligent performance, the horizontal layout of the SUBARU BOXER® engine combines balance with power and efficiency.
Vehicle Dynamics Control
Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), a stability control system, automatically senses steering and braking inputs to help keep the vehicle on the driver’s intended path.
Premium Audio System
The Tribeca features a 385-watt Harman Kardon® premium audio system with a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, MP3 playback capability and SiriusXM™ Satellite Radio. It’s all delivered by 10 speakers placed throughout the cabin.
Touch-Screen Navigation
Use the available touch-screen navigation system to enter your destination and it does the rest. The system can also be used to play DVDs on it’s 7-inch multi-function display, or to show the rear-vision camera while reversing.
Three Rows of Seating
The three rows of seating comfortably hold up to seven passengers. But with folding second and third rows it’s designed for maximum flexibility. Whatever your people/cargo combo, it can fit.
Safety
Smart Braking Systems
The Tribeca’s Antilock Braking System (ABS) prevents wheel lock-up and helps maintain driver control. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) balances braking, while Brake Assist can sense a panic-stop situation and apply full braking force to help stop faster.
The Airbag System (SRS)
The Tribeca comes standard with a total of six airbags to help prevent injury: front, front seat-side and side-curtain. The advanced system uses an array of sensors, including a rollover sensor, to help deploy the airbags in the most effective way possible.
Reinforced Frame
Subaru’s ring-shaped reinforcement frame is designed to shield and protect in a collision. Made of high-tensile strength steel, it directs impact energy around the passenger compartment, rather than through it.
Security
The Tribeca comes standard with a keyless entry system that also unlocks the tailgate and provides an answer-back electronic chirp. The antitheft security system also includes an engine immobilizer.

Bluetooth® Hands-free
Bluetooth® hands-free connectivity is standard as part of the premium audio and navigation systems.
Rear-vision Camera
A rear-vision camera with a 3.3-inch display located in the rearview mirror. Upgrade to the optional navigation system and you’ll have a 7-inch in-dash display.
DVD Entertainment System
The available 9-inch rear-seat DVD entertainment system includes two wireless headsets, a wireless remote and inputs for game console, video camera or other multimedia devices.

Interior Comfort
Tribeca offers a standard 8-way adjustable power driver’s seat and 4-way power front passenger seat — both featuring manual adjustable lumbar support. Other features include ambient interior lighting, leather-trimmed upholstery and a power moonroof.
Convenient Touches
Four 12-volt power outlets—two in the front center console and two in the cargo area. An overhead console with dual map lights. Illuminated front- and second-row footwells.
Dual-Zone Climate Control
Along with standard heated front seats, the dual-zone automatic climate control system lets both you and your front passenger find your own perfect temperature. A separate rear-cabin air conditioner with fan control keeps things hot or cool in the back.
