Cadillac 2013 CTS-V WAGON

When you hear the word “wagon,” does a riveting 556 HP Eaton-supercharged V8 engine with race-bred Brembo® disc brakes come to mind? The 2013 CTS-V Wagon represents perhaps the most audacious branch of the V family tree. The 58 cubic feet of storage go nearly unnoticed when you sit down in the driver-focused cockpit. Dual-mode Magnetic Ride Control reads the road up to 1,000 times a second to ensure constant traction through cornering and altering road conditions. The 2013 V-Wagon: The definitive answer to “What if?”

To give you total control in the cockpit, every element was thoughtfully placed for unobstructed driver control. This feature provides a view of the vehicle’s projected path when the vehicle is put in reverse. Your rear view is intuitively displayed in the navigation system screen. Featuring voice guidance, 3-D color imaging, 10-speaker Bose® surround sound, iPod connectivity, hard drive for music storage and Pause-and-Play Radio—all accessible on an 8-inch LCD touch screen—the glide-up navigation is your all-in-one control center.

When pushing the performance envelope of the V, you want to be firmly planted in your seat. Available RECARO® front heated and ventilated performance seating adjusts 14 ways with pneumatic bolster controls and thigh extenders. Providing secure, confidence-inspiring support for both the driver and front seat passenger.

It’s no coincidence that the brakes found on some of the world’s most sophisticated race cars inspired the brakes on the V. Brembo® high-performance brakes feature race-derived two-piece front rotors. Aluminum for the hat and cast iron for the brake ring enhances the braking performance, especially under track-operating conditions.

The V-Series chassis was developed and tested at the Nürburgring—one of the world’s most demanding tracks and features Magnetic Ride Control, a groundbreaking technology that reads the road up to 1,000 times per second, maintaining chassis poise without sacrificing a comfortable ride.

To help maintain control, the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system responds to sensor information and adjusts the engine power and brake application to keep the vehicle on the path being steered by the driver.
